10 Week Childbirth Class
Location: I teach at Bloomin' Babies Birth Center or in my home (depending on how many register for class) both located in Grand Junction, CO.
This class is for all birth locations (Hospital, Home or Birth Center) and best to start class anytime after 12 weeks pregnant and before 30 weeks.
The 10 week course is $375 which covers:

Breastfeeding:The Ultimate MRE Free download – This video features over 3 hours of information, taught by lactation consultant & Birth Boot Camp board member Mellanie Shephard, IBCLC.

2 on-line make-up classes – If you or your partner are unable to make a class you will be able to watch that class on line.

Week 8: The Fog of War-Keeping a Clear Head in Labor
Week 9: The Plan of Action-Establishing your Priorities and making a plan. Mission Accomplished-the Immediate Postpartum Period
Week 10: Life with a New Recruit: Breastfeeding and Newborn care.

Home Birth or Birth Center Birth Class - 6 sessions
This class is for birth being planned for Home or Birth Center locations. Best to start class anytime after 12 weeks pregnant and before 32 weeks. This class is 5 sessions, however I always pair it with Homecoming (all about baby and postpartum) and the online Breastfeeding class. If not your first baby you can just take the 5 weeks. If this is your first baby then it will be 7 weeks all together.
The 5 week course is $200
If first time parent then it will be 7 weeks for $245

Private Classes
If you desire a live class yet your schedule does not fit my class schedule, I offer private class taught in your home for $600
Birth Boot Camp for Siblings Class
If you are considering having big brother or big sister at your birth this is a wonderful class to begin preparing them and help you know how to prepare siblings for the sights and sounds and miracle of birth. This class is a onetime 1-3 hr class (depending on age and focus of children). I teach this as a private class in your home. $45/family

Reboot Childbrith Class
Refresher Course: I offer this class for those who have given birth naturally but would like to refresh your knowledge and get ready for this birth. If you have taken Birth Boot Camp before (from me, online or another instructor) you will get one 2-3 hour personal class at a convenient time for you either at my home or in your own home. $65
If you have had a natural birth but have never taken Birth Boot Camp I teach 2 classes (each 2-3 hrs) $100
*These refresher courses are not condensed version of Birth Boot Camp. The Refresher class includes a comprehensive workbook with relaxation exercises. If you have not taken an in depth childbirth class a natural birth please enroll in the 10 week course.
Doula Services
I am certified as a doula through Birth Boot Camp Doula. As a doula, I provide emotional, educational and physical support during your pregnancy, labor and birth. My goal is to help you and your partner achieve an amazing birth experience and navigate the many choices you may face. I not only offer you support during your labor and birth, but I also offer my knowledge to you during your pregnancy.
Rates:
$575 For repeat clients
$625 If taking any of my childbirth classes or another equivalent childbirth class.
$850 If you have NOT taken an in depth childbirth class
Doula Package includes:

Free consultation meeting to get to know each other and confirm we are a good match

Unlimited phone, text and/or email support during your pregnancy

2 in home birth planning visits where I get to know what is important to you, we go over your Supporting Arms booklet, I assist you with creating your birth plan, and if possible my back up doula will attend one visit so you get to know her as well in the chance I need a back up.

24/7 on call availability starting at 38 weeks

Continuous labor support at your birth

Postpartum support (including help with initiating breastfeeding) for 1-2 hours following the birth

One Post Birth in home meeting where you tell me your birth story, I can help connect you to local resources you may need/want and answer any questions you may have.

Birth Boot Camp offers online classes in addition to live classes. A live class is always preferred over the online option. However, if your schedule is just too hectic to accommodate a live class OR you live too far away, but would still love to have the amazing Birth Boot Camp education this is a great option!
